Circle is located in northeastern Montana where many paleontologists have conducted their studies.  This area abounds with fossils and artifacts such as “Peck’s Rex™,” one of the most complete Tyrannosaurus rex skeletons ever found.  A life-size replica of Peck's Rex is on display at the Fort Peck Interpretive Center www.pecksrex.com  along with other dinosaur exhibits.  Our stones are unique to the Yellowstone & Missouri River drainages, an extensive part of the Lewis and Clark Journey.  Each stone has its own history.
